We are gifts from above as no one is perfect. Yet, your beloved life and career of heroism, honesty and humility, Officer Cook, were what sustained during times of brutality. Character, truth and trust performed as admirably as commitment and conviction which kept your patrols strong and bold. a life that was taken by evil never to be overlooked we salute your virtue, versatility and wisdom. Dade County were the benefactors of your diligence and its due vigilance. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Sincere and heroic, you had every valid and honorable means of preserving and protecting the citizens of Dade County, Officer Cook. When integrity, dignity and character are destroyed by evil then reverence flies out the window. The wickedness that happened to you and to your comrades, Officer Cook, was certainly tragic and horrible. Nothing can bring your sweet and loyal heart and pure soul back to your family. What is on their humble shoulders is to carry to your legacy, your life and values along with them down their roads of peace and happiness. To cherish "Uncle Bo" never forgetting your truth and trust, valor and wisdom, the eyes to see clearly into their futures of which you should have been permitted to see. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

The roads, paths and trails just started. They wind around and what is next depends upon where God needs your essential preservation. Your convictions and commitments, Officer Cook, were all duly honored and on May16, 1979, Dade County lost a warrior, your family lost more. more than one heart, soul and a smile that could light up a room. Your patrol car was utilized to observe and to accomplish journeys where evil, danger and peril stood in your way. Mr.Pearsall was no doubt a scoundrel. No question a man if you could label him as such with no reverence for politeness, class and anything that authority represented. Your principles, scruples and morals were honorable, dignified and were the epitome of integrity, wisdom and virtue. Badge#1664 serves as heavens' keeper and angel with compassion and a spirit noble and serenely sacred. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Lately more people are being killed by these Brightline trains while trying to go around its gates that at down. Now, why is our world suffering from a seemingly indulgence of terror and hatred? Crime just thrives upon a weakened society. It took gusts, grit and gumption all from your heart and soul of honor, dignity and the understanding of why servants who perform a noble position may have if success at any level is possible. Dade County was and is where your stoic name and smile are forevermore saluted and solemnly remembered as tonight Dade County gathers at Tropical Park to honor you, Officer Cook and nearly one-hundred and fifty heroes of heart and character who paid the ultimate price for safety, security and happiness to circle around us for ever. Hope and goodwill are all part of your heroic legacy to be enshrined in your family, peers and department's hearts. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Everyone wants to finish what they begin and Our Maker denotes when our missions and journeys are deemed as complete. Your family, Officer Cook, suffered a terrible and most horrible loss. Your young life and career were snuffed out by a man of no conscious. No respect, integrity, character and dignity. Yours chased down evil and wickedness making security and safety a top shelf priority for those living in Dade County at the time. Faith and effort were put in your hands by God as He steered your patrols, both sacred and solemn as they served to enhance the image of society and for this no one forgets. You are always on my mind and forevermore implanted in my heart. I thank God for your friend and partner, Officer Keith DiGenova who somehow survived that awful day of infamy. You were relied upon for truth, trust and inspiration now abounding in heaven as angel. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. I enjoys our conversations and due look forward to finally meeting him later this year.
