The theory of relativity as its relates to all police officers today is that they shall be honest, have dignity and to incorporate integrity into their entire professional life and the challenges they may face. Not may, they do face every situation that would be impossible for most if not all to overcome. They are surrounded by support from their colleagues as you were, Officer Cook and from the residents of Dade County who expressed their need for peace and unity. You stayed focused and gave your entire being, its valor and the courage of your heart, character and the convictions to fight on in this battle over violence. You meant the world to everyone. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. Pride and perseverance served you well, Officer Cook, as did your loyalty and everlasting faithfulness.
