Reflections for Police Officer William Coleman Cook
Standing tall says it all. Bravery and humility do go together to form a formidable team when arresting evil and its violence matter most. A courageous and honorable man of commitment and character graced the streets of Dade County for six of your twenty-five years, Officer Cook. No telling the outcome, though we know you were a special gentleman and a gentle giant among law enforcement professionals. Those deep wounds and gaping holes brought about through your untimely passing, hopefully they can slowly be closed. Your family suffered a loss so sadly as you were your parents' darling and valiant son. Nancy lost her beloved little brother and Karen lost her special angel as you were her heroic husband of nobility and gallantry all tied together by laying the cornerstones of satisfaction and civility. You'll never be forgotten. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. Diligence and faith can help any public servant overcome the clutches of conceit and its evil. You maintained humbleness, Officer Cook, in Dade County as you were saving lives and restoring peace and sanctity among all mankind.
