There you were with your partner that day, a terrible day for your family and comrades, about to get off work and you responded to a domestic call and promptly assisted in saving the citizens of Dade County and your fellow officers. Kayos and bedlam were dealt with correctly and swiftly when you worked feverishly, Officer Cook, to restore calm and peace that day of May 16, 1979, a moment to reflect on your humbleness, revered spirit of serenity which delivered Dade County's dignity and integrity back to its citizens. You had so much to live for, Officer Cook, happiness with Karen, your sister, Nancy and your beautiful mother, Mrs. Julia Cook, I hope you are well.
