Officer Cook, you were my family' s neighbor, friend and hero who as our savior vitally instilled the wonderful care and character designated for compassion and kindness. No matter the circumstance you were there present to preserve the goodness and richness of Dade County residents. Their goodwill stood by your side and only by virtue of your wisdom and vision, your integrity and dignity could complete those central tasks of tenacity and resolve to stop a violent man from pursuing his callous craft of hurting more people.
