Reflections for Police Officer William Coleman Cook

Criminals and scoundrels deserve to rot behind bars for the duration of their lives unless a jury votes to send them to death row for execution. So long as they live the light of day should never been in their peepers to view. You gave your life and police dreams, Officer Cook, in order for Dade County and its residents to live hopefully in tranquility and in unity as a harmonious people. Your ever smiling presence allowed this unique opportunity to see your missions and fruitful journeys through until completion. God steered your graceful charm and character, dignity and integrity with the highest respect and honor for society around those many streets some filled with more danger and unfortunate violence. You did everything, Officer Cook, as prescribed by the law and why Mr. Pearsall took you from us and your family, Our Lord only knows the reasons as we carry out your heroic legacy. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Character, class and motivation share in humility's quest of keeping humanity safe and serene. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. You were a considerate and happy young man who did not deserve to have your hopes and journeys snuffed out.
