Reflections for Police Officer William Coleman Cook

Never delight nor take pleasure in another's hour of suffering. We suffered from a malaise of a malcontent man bent on revenge or something against police officers. Your job, Officer Cook, was to secure and seize this evil from off of the streets and their associated venues. You were a truly great man, Officer Cook, humane and honorably heroic. For having character and amazing morals may God bless your humble and dignified name. Integrity now and for eternity residing in Our Lord's good graces. Heaven has all the ferocity and cherished men and women, public servants who spoke a mission of faith and goodwill. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Guesses are reserved for those of higher intellect. Police work sadly offers no guarantees to its honorable and astute men and women. They live everyday leaving their loved ones behind while they pickup the pieces left behind in torment's runiations. Dade County was the battlefield where you gave your life, Officer Cook. All your arsenals of honesty, obedience and of course integrity and dignity were left on the streets after fighting off an evil and despised man. Nothing wrong with your humbleness, valor or convictions, they were all front and center and so is your soul shining brightly right this moment in the Lord's perpetual kingdom of honor and diligence. Rest in peace my neighbor , friend and hero.

Mother Nature just cannot allow time to pass us by. The hourglasses spill their sands as rapidly as violence seems to perpetuate its ugliness around us. Your confidence and friendly manner, Officer Cook, helped to soften its blows of boldness. Being bold is good for public servants not from criminals who carry on with this terror over and over. Dade County was rescued from the surges amplified by wanton and brazen actions of one man, not an army and yet look at what sadly transpired. You were the quintessential man of peace and integrity, honor and reason by virtue of dignity and good morals. They can never be stated enough. A hero in our midst doing his utmost to stop a vile and despicable act. Always etched and stoically honored for humility and everlasting resolve. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Clip the wings of wickedness they can't fly. Puncture holes in the wheels of wildness and turmoil they can't move at all. All any diligent manor woman can do is try and secure the bounties of the brave and honorable, never allowing integrity and dignity to be caught up in the spokes. Dade County ran fairly well when you searched and seized our peace and safe travels, Officer Cook. No sooner when your heard that dispatch go out on the radio you and Reserve Officer Scott Lincoln arrived on the scene to attempt to diffuse a wayward and violent man. His name lives in infamy and sin as he received his punishment for having taken away your liberty and joy of life. Contentment lives in those who sit idly waiting for time to pass them by. Commitment and conviction continue their life journeys in your treasured family members, Officer Cook. they keep honoring and paying homage to your legacy of bravery. Heaven's home for humility and peace for preserving the identity and sacred environments we surely cherish. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Blasphemy is a serious transgression against the Lord Himself. Hurting and even God forbid killing public servants is the worst desecration of His name taking innocent lives of honor, bravery and humbleness from their families, communities, departments and friends at large. The revered name of Officer William Coleman Cook, was one of pristine respect you had for Dade County with heroism and endearment attached to your very soul of harmony, freedom and the bringing together of a region riled by a man's unrelenting and totally wanton violence aimed at police and the good civilians who were just looking for a respite. As of yet weapons such as guns don't have erasers. Once fired you cannot take a bullet back. Police at certain times must brainstorm and access a situation before reacting. If only that terribly tragic day could Mr. Pearsall done some thinking. He did not and you had to fire your weapon, Officer Cook. to defend yourself and your comrades when you heard his gunfire. The morals and mettle so essential to your honor, dignity and integrity attempting to upright a bad sight. But, Dade County surely hasn't forgotten your heroic actions that allowed stability and serenity to take shape. At least,Officer Cook, you engaged and enhanced humanity with your undivided humility and noble deeds that have made our community and your community a bit safer, though a little less without your adoring presence. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. What goes around comes around. Ferocity and fruitful missions faithfully discharged.
