Reflections for Corporal Frederick Holmes Cook

On this day 109 years ago you were murdered by a gang of career criminals and its nice to know that justice was eventually seen to be served.
Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Continue to rest in peace Corporal Cook.

You were my Great Grandfather, and I appreciate your service and thank you for your son Fred (aka Papa, my grandfather). He married the most wonderful lady Louise Lord (Nana), and fathered 3 children (1 son and 2 daughters). Fred was such a wonderful person and brought his family to Texas, where we all reside now, ncluding 10 grandkids. Sure wish you could have been around to meet all of us.
