Reflections for Police Officer Bernard T. Cook

Officer Cook,
On today, the 100th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe as a member of the 79th “Cross of Lorraine” Division fighting the Germans during World War I.

While your assailants were never caught and brought to justice, they surely faced a higher justice at a later time. Thank you for your service and know that no passage of time will ever erase your sacrifice. Rest in peace always.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

So long ago, so young, so new, but never so forgotten. No matter when, no matter where, when an officer falls, no matter what, you will never be forgotten. Thankyou Officer Cook for being part of Law Enforcement History, and thankyou for being there.
