Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

There really aren't any words that can express how sorry I am that you had to bleed to death on the floor of a tavern. As a two time Medal of Honor recipient your devotion to duty is nothing short of incredible. I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for all you did as a member of the New York City Police Department and I'll guarantee you one thing: Your heroism will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace Sergeant.
