Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Officer Thomas C. Clifford

I was lucky to have become a Griffiths. You and Officer Clifford did you duty in Denver as police officers in trying to control the mayham that armed individuals can create. You both deserves the recognition that you have received, along with all the other fallen Officers of the Law, whenever and whereaver you have served.

Your assailant may have been apprehended but he surely faced a higher authority and justice at a later time. Rest in peace always knowing that no passage of time will ever erase your memory, service and sacrifice.

Officer Griffiths - Three Fridays ago, on a very rainy morning, I stood in the State Assembly chambers when your name was one of almost 250 read off during a motion regarding next month's Peace Officers Memorial Week. You are not forgotten.

Thank you for your service to the people of the City of Denver and the State of Colorado.

May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.
