Your ears have never heard me call your name. My face has never felt the touch of your hand, but you are forever in my heart. I can only imagine what might have been with you in my life. Would we have played ball, or gone fishing? Would we just sit and watch the stars? These things I will never know because God reaps in the fields he has sown. For now I will thank you for your sacrifice, honor your memory, miss you like crazy, and wait until we meet in Heaven.

Sir,
You are a distant cousin of mine... I never knew you or your family. I discovered you on this day, "Police Memorial Day - 2016" I feel God meant for me to find you, remember you, and honor you, this day and for the rest of my life. My Father and brother were fellow officers in law enforcement (retired), so again You are special to my heart in a special way. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.
My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Your life was cut short.
I never had the chance to call you Grandpa or sit on your knee.
You were never given the chance to watch me play ball.
I know you through many stories told by your three daughters
and know we would have been close.
Thanks for the sacrifice you made for this city.
I am very proud of you!
No officer who gives his/her life for us need ever be forgotten.
