Reflections for Officer Jason Roscow

Jason,

I think about you all of the time. I remember the days we carpooled to the academy and worked together. Also, the days I would spend my lunch breaks at your house playing X-box. When I heard you had been killed I broke down in tears. My only consolation is that you went down as a warrior, fighting like the bold, courageous cop I knew. Even 17 years in you were first to the fight. Thank you for your friendship and the time in this life we got to spend together. I miss you, and will never forget you.

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.
