Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our Brother-in-Blue, Correction Officer Andrew Lansing of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, was suddenly and violently taken from us; Murdered in the Line-of-Duty. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the cross. I ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, and by His authority. Amen.

I’ve only been in Corrections for about three years and I can proudly say you were my favorite man to work my over time with. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers. Andy was one of the best officers at RCI. It was a privilege to serve with him. His professional life was in service to his country and the citizens of Ohio. I spoke with him before he left to serve in Iraq and he shared with me that he was going there in order to provide for his family. Everything Andy did was with that consideration at the forefront. His love for you was evident.
