We are profoundly saddened by the untimely loss of Detention Officer Isaiah Bias, who served with dedication and honor at the Ellis County Sheriff's Office for over six years. Officer Bias exemplified courage and selflessness, dedicating his life to protecting and serving his community.

Today, we, from class 481 honor his steadfast commitment, compassion, and ultimate sacrifice. At only 28 years old, Officer Bias was tragically taken from us while fulfilling his duties with integrity and respect. His legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family—his cherished mother, two sisters, nieces, and nephews—as well as his friends and colleagues. May they find solace in the profound difference he made and the respect he earned throughout his life.

Officer Isaiah Bias, your service and sacrifice will always be remembered. Rest peacefully, hero.

This is a terriable .Horriable incident. An already jailed Inmate, in for other criminal behavior and this ,Inmate gets to attack a Correction Officer? This man's family have a dark Christmas and Life due to this Criminal. I truly hope he is made to pay for this Crime , and now his family will suffer as well. My sadness and Prayers go out to Officer Bias, his family and Ellis County. Texas. I used to be a resident of Waxahachie and the wonderful people there.
