Reflections for Police Officer Jacob Candanoza
My words would be a feeble attempt to tell how broken hearted I am over this tragedy. May our Lord bring calmness to hearts and easement of mind in the days to come. God Bless this Wife and Son, Family, Fellow Officers and Friends during this time. We are grateful that he chose to stand between us and danger. The Blue Line is very thin. God Bless You All!!!

It saddens me that so many officers have been killed in the line of duty, not only this year, but every year. I cringe every time I see or hear about another officer who has lost their life. Many of these officers have died at the hands of convicted criminals that are on the streets for reasons that I will never understand.
Officer Jacob Candanoza, it breaks my heart that your family has to suffer such a terrible tragedy. That your child will not have you physically present as they grow into adulthood during good times and bad ones as well. You took an oath to serve and protect those in your community, knowing the dangers of the job, but you didn’t hesitate to do so. You are a HERO in every sense of the word, that will live in my heart, and who I will never forget. I pray for your family and friends, that our dear Lord guides them during this difficult time. May you rest in peace knowing you and your service will not be forgotten.
