Heavenly Father, lively is the courage of those who hope in You. Our Brother-in-Blue, Chief of Patrol Kevin Canavan, of the Nassau County NY Police Department, suffered greatly at the hands of evil, but placed his trust in Your mercy. Confident that the petitions of those who mourn pierces the clouds and finds an answer, I beg you, give rest to Chief of Patrol Kevin Canavan and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues as they mourn his loss. O Lord, look upon his sufferings and grant him refreshment, light and peace. I ask this through the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by His Authority. Amen.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God." (Matthew 5:9)
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)

Eternal rest, grant unto Chief of Patrol Kevin Canavan, O Lord,
Let Your Perpetual Light shine brightly upon him,
And may he rest in Your Eternal Peace,
.. beside his brothers and sisters of the Red, White, and Blue.
Thank you ODMP for re-discovering him for us ..
