This horrible notice finds me very upset, as I was a 26 year motor officer with CHP. These three heroes were doing what they loved to do and were killed doing what they loved to do but only because of negligence. This was not an accident, it was an act of driver error. These deputies will forever be remembers as heroes on two wheels. Deputy Diaz will now provide protective service detail to our god all mighty. God bless deputy Diaz, his personal family as well as his family in uniform
