I can't tell you in words how heartbroken I am that this senseless tragedy has occurred with this Officer and her Daughter. May our Lord bring peace of mind and calmness of heart to the Family, Fellow Officers, Mom and Daughter's Friends in these days to comes. I am Thankful Mom cared for Her Daughter as she did. The Blue Line is very thin, and thinner when diluted by the disregard of humans. God help us.

Heavenly Father, Lord our God, you are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our sister, Deputy Constable Katherine Hutson, of the Harris County TX, Precinct 5, Constable's Office, and her young daughter, were suddenly and violently taken from us; struck and killed by a drunk driver in the "Line-of-Duty". Come swiftly to their aid, have mercy on them, and comfort their family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the cross. In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.
