Major Quintero, a police officer should be remembered not by how she died but by how he lived! A brave woman has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your 17 years of commitment to law enforcement, your family, and the Madison County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace, Sister!

Heavenly Father, Lord our God, you are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our sister, Major Michelle Lynn Quintero, of the Madison County NC Sheriff's Office, was suddenly and violently taken from us as a direct result of the calamities of nature in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in the "Line-of-Duty". Come swiftly to her aid, have mercy on her, and comfort her family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the cross. In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

Scripture Verses of Hope, Comfort, and Support from "The Law Enforcement Officer's Bible":

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons [children] of God." [Matthew 5:9 CSB];

"No one has greater love than this: to lay down his [her] life for his [her] friends." [John 15:13 CSB];

"Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." [Luke 23:43 CSB], and;

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." [Matthew 5:4 CSB].
