To the Joseph Family
I lost my husband, Det. Patrick J Hogan NYPD, due to cancer from 911. His eow was 12/31/21. He was 63. The tears have not stopped but, with the help of COPS, life goes on. I hope you will find strength with the help and love from friends and family and also take advantage of the encouragement from COPS. God bless you.

Detective Joseph, It's incredible how many lives have been and will be taken due to the actions of several despicable nobodies so many years ago. You proved yourself to be a better human being than they could ever hope to be.

For all your time on this Earth, for all your time in the service of others, Thank You.

God Bless you and may your time in Heaven be always peaceful, Brother.

Quick side note, I live on Joseph Road in my town. I think somehow, God Directed me to your name for a reflection.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
