I first met Lex when he began working at the Wise County Jail. I loved him from the start. He was funny and kind. He had a large personality and an even larger stature. Lex later worked under me as a Jail Corporal, he was the last Corporal I had the pleasure of working with. Soon after I went to the Police Academy and joined the Decatur PD. Lex soon followed suit. Lex was amazing at his job, from DWIs, to Drug seizures, to assisting those in need, Lex was just great. Lex later went back to the county as a patrol officer. Lex was still a great friend and resource to the PD. It was an honor to serve with you Lex. Thank you for brightening the world while you were here.
