Zane knew he had to protect our lives and gave his. Sometimes we don’t know why things happen. All we can do is hold onto the memories, the love and each other.

To Zane’s wife and child, family, friends, colleagues: REMEMBER ME~
Because you can't feel me, Doesn't mean I'm not there.
Because you can't see me, doesn't mean I'm not near.
Because you can't hear me, doesn't mean I don't speak.
Because you can't see me, doesn't mean I'm out of reach.
Because I have died, doesn't mean I'm gone.

To all his brothers/sisters in Blue - Stay True, Blue and Safe!
RIP - My sympathy!

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.
