I worked at Osage Beach for almost 10 years and know how close the Department is. I may have been long gone before Officer Carson started there. However, she was a sister regardless. I have sat and pondered how the Department is feeling today and cannot imagine. Officer Carson was also a daughter, a wife, and a mother which leaves a hole bigger than anything else. My thoughts and prayers go to everyone who has been affected by this tragic event. (919)

Officer Carson, a police officer should be remembered not by how she died but by how she lived! A brave woman has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your 1 year of commitment to law enforcement, your family, and the Osage Beach Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace, Sister!
