Reflections for Sergeant Billy Randolph
Thoughts and prayers to you and your family
Session 8
Albany County Sheriff's Office Public Safety Institute
August 15, 2024
You were working the scene just like you did every day for the past 29 years. Only God knew it would be your time to come home. I am so sorry the senseless and selfish act of intoxicated driving led to your untimely death my dear friend. Though I never met you personally, the weight of your loss as a fellow DFW area officer hits home. But you are not remembered by how you died but by how you lived. Your decades of sacrifice for the people of Fort Worth are not forgotten. The weight of your actions in this world are a force of good that outweighs any evil that might overcome it.
God bless you Sgt. Randolph. I'll be praying for your family. You can rest easy now, we'll take the watch from here.

My condolences to your family and friends. It’s hard to say goodbye to a person who served for so many years to help people in need, even with a small advice. This is time to reflect upon who you were without comparison to others. You will will be missed, but not for long since we will all meet.
