Reflections for Sergeant Billy Randolph

God bless you Billy Randolph. Thank you for protecting your community and defending us from evil for 29 years! Thank you for being a United States Air Force veteran. I hope to shake your hand and salute your bravery in Heaven one day. Much peace, honor and empathy to the Fort Worth Police Department.

Heavenly Father, You are Merciful and Compassionate. None of America's Peace Officers leave home without the fear of not returning at the end of their assigned watch. It is a fear that is lived daily. Unfortunately, the worst does sometimes come to pass, and lives are left shattered. Lord God, bless and keep the hearts and souls of those who have lost loved ones in the Line-of-Duty. Wipe away the tears from their eyes. Soothe their pain and bind up their emotional wounds through the wounds of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In His mighty and holy Name, and by His authority, I pray. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing my prayer on this day for America's Fallen Peace Officers and their families. Amen.

God's Biblical Mission for America's Peace Officers:

"For the policeman does not frighten people who are doing right; but those doing evil will always fear him. So if you don’t want to be afraid, keep the laws and you will get along well. The policeman is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he will have you punished. He is sent by God for that very purpose. Obey the laws, then, for two reasons: first, to keep from being punished, and second, just because you know you should."
[Romans 13:3-5 TLB]

Holy Scripture Verses of Hope and Comfort from 'The Law Enforcement Officer's Bible':

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Who will I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me." [Isaiah 6:8 CSB]

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." [Matthew 5:4 CSB]

It NEVER gets easier to comprehend. In fact, it is harder now after 48 years in LE. Stop killing our heroes!

May God, in His infinite mercy and love, bring eternal peace to the fallen officers who have given their lives in the line of duty. May He grant peace of mind and rest in the hearts of those who mourn them, knowing that their loved ones are now in the arms of the Heavenly Father.
