Heavenly Father, God of Justice, I am grateful for the lives and sacrifices of America's Fallen Peace Officers. They died serving and protecting us. Help us to never forget them. Help us to celebrate their lives and honor their sacrifices. Be with the families of these fallen heroes. Comfort them and give them Your strength and peace; not the peace of this world, but the peace only You can give them. Guide us as we seek to take care of the families of America's Fallen Peace Officers. May we take care of them with integrity. In commemorating the deaths of America's Fallen Peace Officers, help us also to remember that death is not the end. Death does not have the final say, but is simply the transition from this earthly life to the heavenly life yet to come. This assurance was guaranteed to all believers upon the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We look forward to that life to come with joy and anticipation. Thank You, Lord God, for hearing my prayer for America's Fallen Peace Officers and their families. In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by His authority, I pray for America's Fallen Peace Officers and their families. Amen.
Holy Scripture Verses of Comfort and Hope from 'The Law Enforcement Officer's Bible':
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." [Matthew 5:4 CSB]
"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs." [Matthew 5:10 CSB]

Senior Corporal Jolivette, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your 15 years of commitment to law enforcement service, to your family, and to the Lafayette Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
