Trooper Campbell,

I recently attended a funeral for a deputy in Marion County Florida. While visiting the web sight to his memorial I thought of you. You see, I currently serve with your son(Sgt. Charles Campbell, TCSO) and often work closely with your grandson Ptl. Garrett Campbell ,Perry P.D. I know you are proud of them as you watch over them from Heaven. I am honored to serve with your son and he has taught me alot. I learned of your tragic death about a year ago and have since discussed it with your son. You have left a lasting impression on me through Charles and I am a better officer because of it.Rest in peace sir. Romans 13:1-5

I also saw the story of your death on the Discovery Channel. It was a tragic thing that happened to you. Thank God for fellow officers like you . May you rst in peace broter and we can all hang out one day in that glorious place called HEAVEN.

Deputy 2 A.S. Russell
Greenville County Sheriff Dept.

Trooper Campbell;
I watched a "true crime" episode on Discovery channel and learned the circumstances of your passing. This is a belated and heartfelt "thank you" for putting your life on the line to try to stop a dangerous serial killer. We don't recognize how often truly fine men are taken from their families while protecting our lives, our property, our freedom and our way of life. God Bless You. Rest in Peace.
