On behalf of the 68 dedicated volunteers associated with POINT 27 across the United States, we would like to offer condolences for Sergeant Bill Hooser. Please know we are eternally grateful for Bill’s service and his ultimate sacrifice.

To honor Sergeant Hooser, POINT 27 sent 27 Thin Blue Line Dog Tag Necklaces, engraved with “Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called children of God” Matthew 5:9, to the Santaquin Police Department in Santaquin, Utah for Bill’s partner and his fellow officers. POINT 27 also sent a Folded Flag Necklace engraved with “Greater Love has no one than this; than to lay down one’s life for one’s friend” John 15:13 for Sergeant Bill Hooser’s wife.

POINT 27 is a Non-Profit organization with a mission to strengthen and encourage members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their families, by sharing scripture on Dog Tags and Jewelry called Shields of Strength.

We will never forget and we are forever grateful.

Heavenly Father, I come before You today grieved in heart over the divisions in our country, the United States of America. I grieve for every life lost to violence, regardless of color or creed. And I especially grieve this day over the senseless deaths of America's Peace Officers whose sworn duty is to protect us from harm. Please grant comfort and hope to their families.

I know from Romans 13: 3-5 (TLB) that America's Peace Officers have a sacred task, to enforce laws that protect the innocent and punish the guilty: "For the policeman does not frighten people who are doing right; but those doing evil will always fear him. So if you don't want to be afraid, keep the laws and you will get along well. The policeman is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he will have you punished. He is sent by God for that very purpose. Obey the laws, then, for two reasons: first, to keep from being punished, and second, just because you know you should."

I pray that You, Lord God, will protect America's Peace Officers as they serve and protect us. Give them wisdom, discernment, and a deep desire to serve You. Lord God, please surround every American Peace Officer in our land, the United States of America, with battalions of warring angels to protect them from harm. We stand together in the powerful and mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ against every work of Satan intended to inflict injury and death on our protectors. May Satan's power be thwarted, in your mighty and holy Name, and his plans exposed by Your light.

By Your grace and power, lead us into a new day of racial harmony in our land, a day in which Your name is again lifted high in our nation, the United States of America, and the rule of law is honored by all. Please grant us spiritual, political, and cultural leaders who will speak to us with Your wisdom and Your truth. Please renew us in spirit, mind, and heart that we may once again be one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.
