Reflections for Sergeant Bill Hooser
The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.
There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.
I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

This "senseless act" done by this criminal "broke all our hearts" in Utah.
Even though I did not know Sgt. Bill Hooser, I wept with everyone else.
I wish our lives had cross paths in my lifetime cause Officer Hooser seems like an kind, exceptional great person and super-great police officer, husband and father!!
May his family and his family in law enforcement be comforted at this time.
RIP, Sgt. Bill Hooser until we meet again!

It saddens me to read of yet another officer has given up his life to protect this great nation!Hardest hit are the immediate families, the law enforcement agency , friends and the United States of America It’s tragic because you never here of an officer who died in the line of duty getting the president’s medal of freedom. This officer as well as all those preceding him have give up their lives freely so we can enjoy the freedoms we have. It seem so sad that all I can say to this officer is Thank You for being the servant you were to God’s children. No greater a gift that man can give than give his life to save another. Your sacrifice may go unnoticed by people on earth but god seen and knows this officer personally and true to his word , has blessed this officer! I think god heart broken when officer Bill Hoosier died it was like Jesus suffered and died. We are all sons and daughters of a loving god. May the blood of Jesus provide healing to all who are suffering. The hardest thing we must do is to forgive the person responsible who has done this senseless act. So that the healing of the heart can take place. It is my prayer that our merciful god will be with all of you during this time of healing.
