Heavenly Father, You are Compassionate and Merciful. None of America's Peace Officers leave home without the fear of not returning at the end of their watch. It is a fear that is lived daily. Unfortunately, the worst does sometimes come to pass, and lives are left shattered. Lord God, bless and keep the hearts and souls of those who have lost loved ones in the Line-of-Duty. Wipe away the tears from their eyes. Soothe their pain and bind up their emotional wounds through the wounds of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In His mighty and holy name, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God." [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

Sergeant Taylor, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your 21 years of commitment to law enforcement service, to your family, and to the Billerica Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

My condolences to his family and friends. It is hard to loose a love one. He is a hero to the eyes of many. He was there to serve when he was called to help. Our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord surround him with angels and bring him to heaven. Our hope is that we all be together reunited one day in the church that Jesus founded to praise God for eternity. RIP blue warrior, RIP.
