"I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom." I think there are no words to console his wife, parents and relatives, his extended family, who are the other men and women of the uniformed service who take to the streets every day so that this world is safer from criminals like this one who without reason takes the life of another human being.
Rest in the Peace of God Officer Diller.

Now you are in the hands of the all mighty and in the company of warriors who have fallen before you. They all gave their lives to keep our streets safe. BUT LIKE YOU, THERE WAS NO OTHER. My condolences to your family and friends. God will judge us, not in the way we die, but the way we have lived. Oh, All mighty God hear our prayers and take your son with you who served to protect humbly his brothers and sisters. Lord have mercy on his soul. Let him have a room in your mansion and be eternally happy together with your Saints and Angels. We all will meet up there sooner or later. Rest in peace street warrior. RIP.

Very sorry about Police Officer Jonathan Diller. Sorry for his family and friends as well. And sorry that bullet proof vest wasn't longer down the front to offer better abdominal protection. A few more inches of material might have saved him. A real shame.
But I and countless others appreciate his dedicated service and send heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends.
