Reflections for Trooper Christopher M. Gadd

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

May God comfort your family, friends, and fellow officers at this difficult time; a time of deep sadness, and a time of feeling the unjustness of it all.

You were taken too soon brother. I remember working car wrecks with you during your FTO period and our conversation that we’re usually brief but meaningful. May you rest in peace and watch over your family. We have the watch from here brother.

Chris will be missed by everyone at WSP, I was working at the Academy (administration, I was one who helped with their graduation and open house) when he was there. He was a bright spot in everyone's lives he touched.

Rest easy.
