Reflections for Trooper First Class Chase Winston Redner
Very sad news indeed. My condolences to his family and friends.
I moved to the state of Georgia from Illinois in 1988. I've gotten to know the professionalism of Georgia's law enforcement people, simply by observation. Both the state, and my county, Henry.
These people truly do a marvelous job and always maintain a level of professionalism that makes me and my family feel safe, but also makes it easy for us to respect their authority.
Chase was only 31 years old. The same age as my oldest son. A young man in his prime, and yet still pretty early in his career.
I'll be saying prayers for this young man, and his family, that their grief is shortened by the fond memories of a good man who was loved and respected.
