Big Al my brother,
You are truly missed. We cherish the memories. You were always modest and never care much about awards. You always said I’m just doing my job! You were the Recipient of two Chief of Detectives awards. You were just award the medal for distinguished service award for your service ultimate sacrifice on 9/11. We keep your memories alive, and honor you on 9/11.

Thanks for keeping an eye on me even though I was the boss. Don't think I ever laughed so hard than when I was working with you and the team at the Bronx Juvenile Crime Squad. So many kids were saved. Best warrant we had was picking up the kid in Mecklenburg NY. I will never forget. I'll have a shaved ice for you just can't remember what color you liked. Rest easy brother.
To Det Sgt Hector Arocena, Thank you for never forgetting Al. Great partner and a great friend.

There are some who bring a light so great to the world. That even after they have gone. The light remains. We had great times, great laughs and great memories my brother.
