In light of the recent show of disrespect towards good law enforcement officers in New York City by those who have broken the law by being in our country illegally, I would like to add my name to the list of those who feel that it is more than fit to honor Trooper Fink and all who keep us and our families safe in this dangerous world that we live in.

RIP Trooper Fink

So sad. Thank you for your service. Hopefully the State of Florida will make all agencies put in a new pursuit policy so these offenders will know that you can’t run in the State of Florida

Lord Jesus Christ, the endeavors of America’s Peace Officers are often thankless. They must deal daily with the most wicked and volatile members of society. Sometimes, this interaction even costs them their lives. For this example, we praise and thank You. For like You, they are often mocked and scorned. Yet, even for their enemies, they laid down their lives. In Your mighty and holy name, and by Your authority, I pray. Amen.

Scripture Supporting the Law Enforcement Mission:

“So those who refuse to obey the laws of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow. For the policeman [peace officer] does not frighten people who are doing right; but those doing evil will always fear him. So if you don’t want to be afraid, keep the laws and you will get along well. The policeman [peace officer] is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he [the peace officer] will have you punished. He [the peace officer] is sent by God for that very purpose. Obey the laws, then, for two reasons: first, to keep from being punished, and second, just because you know you should.” [Romans 13:2-5 TLB]

Scriptures for Support, Hope, and Comfort:

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

[Jesus Said,] “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13 ESV]

And he [Jesus] said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” [Luke 23:43 ESV]
