Reflections for Investigator Christopher John Marcello
Investigator Marcello,
On today, the 2nd anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served with the NEARNG as a member of the 1st Squadron of the 134th Cavalry Regiment-especially in Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Chris was one of the greats! He lightened the room while coaxing the best out of those around him. A rare combination of empathy, humor, intelligence, and tactics that only come along once in a great while. While he is no longer physically present in our walls, he continues to provide a model for achievement for our department, and will live on through his influence in Grand Island.
