Trooper Felix was my neighbor for years. We got to know him and his family as he transitioned from the Air Force to attending the NHP Academy. We would always talk about how his day was as he returned from work. I had just talked to him the day before this tragedy as he returned from his night shift. I still can’t believe I won’t see my friend anymore and talk anymore. Rest in peace my friend. We will watch over your family.

On behalf of the Ohio Attorneys General Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation, our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family of Trooper Alberto Felix and the extended law enforcement family of the Nevada Highway Patrol, Nevada.
End of Watch Thursday, November 30, 2023.
Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.
I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

Felix,
After leaving one career to become a Nevada State Trooper, I had the opportunity to meet you as one of your trainers. I quickly got to know just how big of a heart you had. You were a great Trooper who always strived to be better, and I admired you for that. I'm honored to have met you, and to have worked along side you.

So tragic and should of never happend. Trooper Felix is our neighbor and he wa such a kind and loving man. The day we were moving in he was teaching his youngest to ride a bike. He always made us laugh and if he saw us ,waved like old neighbors used to do. You will be missed but never forgotten and TA will run a mile in your honor soon.
He will never be forgotten and I will keep posting on any post I see about this, Trooper Felix. It my way of honoring you and keeping your memory alive by a terrible decision by a drunk driver.
