Trooper Lakeman was an outstanding Trooper. I had him assigned under my command on the first wave of the Hurricane Katrina Detail. He performed flawlessly and selflessly, taking on difficult tasks - always with a smile. I got to know him a little during that time and respected him.
Rest in peace Brother.
Til Valhalla.
