Reflections for Police Officer Kevin M. Cram

I am from GAVC Morris Community High School in Morris, IL I am doing a project for Chief Dite where we research fallen officers, I read his story, and I could not even comprehend how this family felt. I want to give my condolences to the beautiful family he has, his friends, and his department. Thank you for your service

Lord God of unfailing love, to those families in our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a law enforcement family member, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer. In Christ Jesus, Your beloved Son, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

Officer Cram, our world is full of evil people, and yet, for many years, you dedicated your life to protecting others that they may be safe. Our Lord, who sees all and knows all, will reward you abundantly for your courage, dedication and selfless service. My heart breaks for the sorrow that your loved ones are experiencing. May God immerse you and them in His Divine Mercy. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.

Years ago, I heard the gunshots ricocheting. They took down one of our youngest and best policemen here in Urbandale, Iowa. Never can I read about an officer who has fallen without reliving that horrible night. I am honored to be founder of Eagle Angels. We give support, whenever we can, to our military and to our Homeland Heroes. At this time, please accept our condolences and our group support. We are here to honor you in any way that we can. Thank you for living on the blue line and standing tall for the weakest to the strongest American.

Eagle Angels is a charity organization that has a team for Homeland Heroes. Not enough words to express our grief when one of our best has fallen.
