Patrick, the fellow agent that took your life in training, must be ridden with guilt. I pray that he realizes his mistake and exits law enforcement completely prayers for your family Patrick. There is no excuse for this. Although forgiven. Some mistakes are not “my bad”, and go on like it’s another day. My God. We need responsible agents. If our own brothers are taken the very lives that we swore to protect, then what is this world coming to?

Pat,
I can’t even begin to say how much I’m going to miss you. I can’t believe I’m writing on this message board with your picture on it. I’m so honored to have known you the past 20+ years as a co-worker, leader, and friend. You made an incredible impact on myself and everyone you came across.
I’ve been looking through so many pics of us over the years and remembering all the good and fun times we had.
I’m still processing this situation and dealing with all the emotions but mostly I’m really sad.
The 161st & IRS will make sure your family is cared for. You will never be forgotten!
