Reflections for Detective Jacob Arthur Beu

Thank you for being a great man and officer. I wish I had known you better but I can say that every interaction I had with you was good. You were fun to roll with in jiu Jitsu, and made everyone laugh and smile. Thank you for offering to help me with narcotics calls if I needed it. You will be missed by all brother.

Heavenly Father, I pray for the families of all America’s Peace Officers who have been killed in the Line-of-Duty and I thank you for their sacrifices. Bless the lives of their families so they might find healing. Help their law enforcement departments and agencies support their families. Even though their deaths might have been senseless, make something good come out of these situations so that their departments, agencies and communities, counties, states or nation, the United States of America, in which they lived and worked, might be stronger because of their lives and their deaths. In Christ Jesus’ mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family, and the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

May Officer Beu rest in the Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His work on earth was cut short for whatever reason God has? Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family and co-workers at his Sheriff’s Department and surrounding Departments. RIP Officer Beu.
