Today I was having a conversation with a family friend that is close to my sister. While talking to him I found out that you were his uncle. When you were tragically taken away from your family, your nephew was 5 years old living in New York. Today I shared your story with him and he was very thankful.
My brother in blue I pray that you are shining in the Heavens with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. You are remembered.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 30th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
