I would also like to say thank you to the Detectives of the Pittsburgh Police Department involved in this incident for taking care of business with the POS that murdered you.

Lord God of unfailing love, to those families in our beloved nation who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a law enforcement family member, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. I was born at the hospital up in Natrona Heights and my family and I lived just a few minutes away from it in Brackenridge. I was born in 2001 and lived in that little town for about 6 or 7 years until we moved. I'm 21 now and you were with the Brackenridge police for 22 years. Chief, you were protecting the streets while I was just a little boy playing on Ohio street with my friends and family. I never knew your name until you were killed in the line of duty in January of this year. I hope that wherever you are now, you know that that little boy now a grown man is thankful for that humble service you provided to his community and family. You will live on forever in some small way in him and all those you protected in that little place called Brackenridge. In that way, you will never truly die. Rest in peace, hero.

The day I celebrated my 31st birthday, you were gunned down by a coward with seemingly nothing to lose. But lose we all did, we lost you!
It fills my heart with sorrow, as does any similar death! You, Chief of Police Justin McIntire laid down your life for the safety, aid and protection of your fellow man.
