Heavenly Father, we pray for the families of America’s Peace Officers who have been killed in the Line-of-Duty and we thank You for their sacrifices. Bless the lives of their families so they might find healing. Help their departments [agencies] support the families of their fallen. Even though their deaths might have been senseless, make something good come out of these situations so that the departments [agencies] and the communities in which they lived and served might be stronger because of their lives and their deaths. In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray! Amen.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]
