My heart greaves for your family, for your department, for your community. My heart greaves for all agencies and for fellow officers that have lost brothers and sisters “in blue” and I pray that your sacrifice will not go unnoticed, nor be forgotten. You were so young and and so eager I’m certain, to serve and to protect, because that’s what we do. May God bless and hold your family tight in His arms while they mourn your loss forever more. Amen.

Officer Shahnavaz, I am so deeply saddened to hear about your passing. No officer of the law should ever lose their life in the line of duty. You were only 24 and had your whole life ahead of you, cut short after a traffic stop. My heart goes out to your family. It’s heartbreaking. You have made the ultimate sacrifice and will always be a hero.
