Your heroism and service is honored today, the 19th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

SGT.PANTOJAS, I WAS IN THE ACADEMY P.R.P.D CLASS 185 THAT STARTED ON JULY 12,1991 MONTHS BEFORE THE INCIDENT I ALSO WENT TO YOUR WAKE AND FUNERAL. IT WAS SO SAD! AND SINCE YOU WERE A GOOD INSTRUCTOR THERE AT THE ACADEMY. I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED BEING TRAINED WITH YOUR EXPERTICE. IT WAS DURING THE OFF DUTY HOURS THAT WE KNEW OF YOUR PASSING.
