URGENT PRAYER REQUEST: Issued by the Bernalillo County New Mexico Sheriff's Office:
After battling a wildfire in East Mesa, a Bernalillo County NM Sheriff's Helicopter, Metro 2, experienced an unknown problem, fell from the sky, and crashed killing all four aboard: Undersheriff Larry Koren, Lieutenant Fred Beers, and Deputy Sheriff Michael Levison, all of the Bernalillo County NM Sheriff's Office, and Rescue Specialist Matthew King of the Bernalillo County NM Fire Department.
Let U.S. Pray:
Heavenly Father, You are Compassionate and Merciful. None of our nation’s First Responders leave home without the fear of not returning at the end of their watch. It is a fear that is lived daily. Unfortunately, the worst does sometimes come to pass, and lives are left shattered. Lord God, bless and keep the hearts and souls of those who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. Wipe away the tears from their eyes. Soothe their pain and bind up their emotional wounds through the wounds of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In His name, I pray. Amen.
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 NLT]
“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.” [Matthew 5:9 NLT]
“God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 NLT]
