The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.
There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

Officer Lopez, thank you for all of your service to this nation, in every capacity. We mourn your tragic death but honor your life and service. I cannot mourn the death of your murderer and feel a sense of justice in his death, though many will condemn that feeling.
I pray for those you left behind, but know in my heart, that so long as they keep you in their hearts and minds, you will never truly be gone from them.
God Bless you, Brother and may you forever Rest in Peace.
