Reflections for Police Officer Jorge David Alvarado, Jr.
George, I truly enjoyed working with you and getting to know you. You were a man of few words, and always had a hug smile on your face. I had the pleasure to serve with you and your brother Alvy, and I will cherish that forever. George you work is done. I will miss and love you always brother.

Officer Alvarado: I did not know you, but you I want to express my thanks to you for two things. First off, picking up the Torch of Freedom from past generations of service members who have served our country in uniform and secondly, for protecting my fellow 'Boomers" in Colma (Holy Angels '59) and Salinas (SHS '64). To your family and Salinas Brothers and Sisters in Blue, I offer my deepest condolences.
"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old...
Age shall not weary them, or the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun...an in the morning,
We will remember them."
